The Karch Lab is focused on understanding the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying tauopathies and other neurodegenerative diseases, through the utilization of human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) as a model system. Applicant will become a crucial member of an NIH funded international effort to establish patient derived iPSC lines to study dementia.

The ideal candidate should be capable of spearheading independent projects, in addition to providing collaborative and supportive supervision, protocol optimization, and troubleshooting.
